Sharp was born in Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied clarinet the piano, cello, and clarinet at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. Sharp received a award to The Boston Conservatory for her love of school theatre. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her sights on the stage. Sharp performed on The Broadway National Tour of Carousel The show debuted Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and played eight different roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside playwright August Wilson himself. In addition to her work in stage and screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she has written or co-written. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album currently in the process of being recorded. Sharp likes to stay fit and stays in great fitness by learning Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles.
